A partir del esfuerzo comercial de las principales exportadoras de pisco, la bebida bandera del Perú se abre camino en los mercados más competitivos. Así, las 10 primeras empresas envían alrededor del 80% de los despachos, pero la producción tiene a más actores. En suma, el Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (Indecopi) reporta 510 titulares de la autorización de uso de la denominación “pisco”, entre los cuales hay pequeños pisqueros que también buscan llegar a otros países, a través de la compañía Pisco Suyo.
